Come join me in teaching a 2 hour workshop in Waimea on March 24, 2018 from 3-5 PM.
We will be looking at the glandular system and how that effects our daily lives, how to incorporate that into our daily practice. We will be chanting, using singing bowls and of course, doing our kryas. Sat Nam |
Kundalini Yoga incorporates postures and energetic use of the voice, to engage deeper energy in your yoga practice.
Kundalini yoga combines kriyas, or, devotional chant, so the yogi or yogini can access deeper realms of the unifying experience that yoga brings. In kundalini yoga, we learn to master our inner fire with our higher etheric bodies. Some types of yoga concentrate more on the Asanas, or poses. Kundalini Yoga brings us into our mastery of the breath, thereby becoming masters of our lives, or, "outer experiences". Learn more about Kundalini Yoga. |
Melinda's approach to yoga centres around nurturing the individual. Creating a safe space for each student is of primal importance.
Often, students will push themselves beyond their comfort zone, causing injury. Melinda allows the individual to maintain the awareness within their own body, which is the focus of yoga: "self-realization". Whether you are new to yoga, or an accomplished yogi or yogini, Melinda's classes are aimed toward fun, joy, and discovering the wisdom and bliss within us, that is our inherent and divine birthright. |
